Humphrey Bogart starred as Sam Spade in this Hollywood "film noire" classic, and one of the best detective movies ever made. This was the third movie made from Dasheil Hammett's riveting novel, but the only one known by most.  Even Bette Davis and Warren William's starring roles in the 1936 "Satan Met a Lady" is not remembered as a version of the Maltese Falcon.

Humphrey Bogart's film career can only be described as that of the Maltese Falcon - the elusive characters, the mystery, the diverse and multi-faceted nature of the parts he portrayed. His first 28 films were in gangster style with Bogie on the wrong side of the law.  High Sierra changed that stereotype, and then the Maltese Falcon presented him as both a hero and romantic lead. A total of 75 films made Bogart an icon for every film aficionado, and the desire of every woman.

Grab your popcorn, let the usher show you to your seat, as the film is about to begin. Enjoy the story of the Maltese Falcon and the life of Bogie as we present it.

Trillo and Suede
It's film noir through the eyes of the Marx Brothers - it's Charlie Chan meets Charlie McCarthy - Philip Marlowe meets the Muppets - Humphrey Bogart meets Edgar Bergen.
